Position summary (mandate of the incumbent, key objectives)

Under the direction of the Procurement Director for Indirect and COE, the Procurement Manager will take ownership of the development and implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. Long-term vision positions her/him as a strategic leader, responsible for optimizing the procurement team by establishing best practices and governance and by providing high quality analytics to support business decision-making.

Primary responsibilities

Initial Focus: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

In this dynamic role, you'll initially act as the Procurement Business Process Owner for our recent implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations. This hands-on phase will be crucial for you to:

• Champion the System: Lead the successful configuration and optimization of procurement workflows within Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring data integrity, user adoption, and efficient workflows.

• Drive User Adoption: Develop and implement training programs for procurement personnel on the new system, fostering system adoption across the organization.

• Gain Deep Knowledge: Immerse yourself in the company's procurement function, gaining a comprehensive understanding of our current processes and practices, including those related to M&A activity.

Long-Term Vision: Leading Procurement Initiatives & Building the COE

As you seamlessly transition to the COE, you'll leverage your deep understanding of the procurement function and Dynamics 365 F&O to:

• Establish Best Practices & Governance: Remain up to date on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Work closely with Commodity Managers to identify best practices for sourcing, negotiation, contract management, supplier relationship management, purchasing practices, and governance for Procurement. Lead their documentation, automation, and implementation across systems, technologies, and published policy. Design and implement a robust procurement governance framework.

• Analytics: Develop and leverage data analytics to measure performance, identify cost reduction opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.

• Support the Optimization of Supply Chain Efficiency: Collaborate with Operations, Sales, and Marketing to monitor production levels and ensure proper supply to locations. Develop planning tools to manage master production schedules, liaise with suppliers, and ensure raw material availability to meet production demands.

• Ensure Supplier Compliance: Conduct and document our supply base compliance to all relevant regulations and certifications required by our standards, including EHS, legal, quality, and ethical policies.

Professional Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in procurement leadership with a strong track record of success.

• Proven experience in implementing and optimizing procurement processes within an ERP system (Dynamics 365 F&O a plus).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

• Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and implement long-term plans.

• Proficient with MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
