Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company - Finance Systems and Analytics is seeking an Experienced Tax Solutions Designer to join our team as we continue to enhance and optimize our tax management processes within the SAP and Vertex platforms for both domestic and international business units to join the team in Hazelwood, Missouri, Chicago Illinois or Renton, Washington.

As a Tax Solutions Designer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing tax solutions that align with our business requirements and ensure compliance with tax regulations. This position requires a deep understanding of tax processes, SAP, and Vertex, along with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Position Responsibilities:

Gathers, interprets and integrates business information requirements and coordinates change activities

Develops and implements business architecture based upon information requirements

Monitors and performs quality control actions relating to business information

Develops, governs, and enhances information dashboards and reports

Develops and executes system readiness testing

Administers and monitors systems post-implementation

Performs project management tasks related to business information integration activities

Manages system changes and integration efforts

Provides end-user support to include immediate system/data guidance, FAQ management, issue analysis, and training design and delivery This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field

3+ years of experience SAP S/4HANA, and ERP operational processes

Experience using domestic and international tax laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience in designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP and Vertex.

3+ years of experience with tax technology applications (e.g. OneSource, Vertex, Avalara, Sovos /Taxware, Oracle Enterprise Business Tax)

In-depth knowledge of tax processes, regulations, and compliance requirements

Strong proficiency in SAP and Vertex, with hands-on experience in system configuration and customization

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Chicago and Renton: $99,000 - 115,000

Summary pay range for Hazelwood: $92,700 - $111,000
