7p to 7a, Mill shift schedule (Night shift differential is $2 per hour)Position Summary

We are one of the largest secondary food carton manufacturers in the U.S. Seeking candidates with previous machine operations, set-up and maintenance experience to safely operate and maintain a Marquip Sheeter machine in order to efficiently manufacture folding food cartons.Duties and Responsibilities

Safely perform the following operations and demonstrate, by meeting production standards, your capability to perform the operations during continuous production.

Safely and effectively operate Marquip sheeter at targeted speeds and production output requirements.

Operate machine controls and operation; including conveyor system at delivery, job changeovers, resetting of cutting knife, make ready and run of production jobs, daily and basic maintenance of equipment, knife changes and oversight of work performed by Roll Tender.

Adherence to and verification of quality specifications for products produced.

Machine setup and troubleshooting to determine and eliminate barriers that impact production.

Machine preventative maintenance.

Provide leadership, guidance and training to fellow crew members

Learn fundamentals of printing

Learn fundamentals of sheeter operation

Maintain clean and organized work area

Attend training programs to further development in position

Perform duties and responsibilities of Roll Tender as needed:

Set up and operate roll stand

Organize and maintain roll stock for both presses

Maintain accurate records of allocated board

Ability to operate clamp truck and forklift

Ability to lift 75 lbs.

Ability to move up to 3000 lb. rolls

Ability to do repetitive work

Ability to work 12-hr. work shift

Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
