Salary: $47,000-$53,000 Annually

The agency provides specialty counseling services in the following areas:

Sexual Abuse and Trauma

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Bilingual Therapy to Adults and Adolescents

Substance Abuse and Co-Occurring Disorders

Expressive Arts

Cognitive Restructuring for Adolescents

Problem Sexual Behavior

Family Reunification

General Mental Health

Chosen candidates for these exciting programs will have the opportunity to:

Conduct assessments or screenings with clients to evaluate the nature of their presenting problems in order to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plan goals.

Develop and provide individual treatment plans; monitors, evaluate and document clients’ progress.

Prepare intake documentation, progress notes, case management, communications and other documentation regarding clients in accordance.

Monitor case load daily to ensure required documentation is completed timely.

Provide individual and group counseling, some out of session contact with clients may be needed.

Facilitate coordination of care to include case review, therapeutic interventions, and client progress in treatment.

Some evenings may be required.

Skills/ Requirements:

Applicant qualifications required include a minimum of master's degree in mental/behavioral health field and possess a current license through the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Preference for this position is for Independently Licensed Clinicians and Bilingual Counselors. Supervision toward independent license is available for this position.

Applicants should have at least one year of experience working with the specialty areas identified in the previous section. Knowledge of cognitive behavioral, motivational and other best practice models are preferred.

Preferred Applicants will have several of the following credentials:

Independent License from AZBBHE (LISAC's must have another Masters level license).

Associate licensed applicants will be considered if experience and training in required areas can be demonstrated.

Minimum of 2 years experience working in the behavioral health field.

EMDR training (certification not required but Level 1 and/or 2 is required).

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Working with court involved families.

Trauma and/or sexual abuse treatment.

Fingerprint clearance card (required).

CPR/1st aid (required).

Training in other evidence based practices.

Must be proficient with common software applications, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.

Must be proficient in the areas of treatment plan writing and other clinical documentation.

There is a generous bonus structure offered with this position along with low caseloads.
