What You'll Do

Understand the business processes addressed by the packaged application, including O2C, P2P, AR, AP, and GL workflows.

Map the existing workflow onto the business process offered by the ‘Packaged application’

Conduct a gap analysis to pinpoint areas where existing processes diverge from application functionalities. That is called ‘Gap Analysis’

Compile a ‘customization’ list as well as a ‘Workflow change’ list. That is called the ‘Customization/Implementation plan’

Design all necessary features/changes that will be required in customization. That is called ‘Customization Design’

That design is handed over to the Program/Project Manager and then he/she manages the development project.

What You Know

10+ years of experience in Supply chain (Candidate with Manhattan functional experience will be preferred).

Any experience with TGW Warehouse Software (Planning and Monitoring), and Vargo Scheduling software will be a great advantage.

Techno Functional consultant: Should understand the design of the ‘Packaged software’ inside out. That helps in quick and accurate analysis and customization

Technical: Should be able to ‘code’, ‘test’, and create Test data. Do Unit testing etc etc. Skills have to match with the development tools required for that particular ‘Package’.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field

Compensation Band

$130–135k per year
