THE OPPORTUNITY

As the Manager, People Compliance – Data and Reporting, you will have the responsibility of leading a team of compliance analysts in managing daily data reporting and analysis for several Compliance initiatives. Areas of reporting will include Fair Workweek practices, meal and rest laws, minor scheduling rules, and state-specific pay rules. The ideal candidate will serve as a key resource for data for internal and external compliance reporting and audits. They will also act as a compliance advocate to provide analysis on key performance indicators that will help drive the execution of various training strategies in partnership with restaurant leadership. This highly cross-functional role will develop key reporting resources for multiple levels to achieve operational excellence by increasing awareness and promoting accountability.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Oversee the continuing effort to enhance Compliance-specific reporting and support processes through automation and/or simplification, resulting in timely metric reporting that restaurant and corporate leadership can leverage to drive changes in behavior.

Act as the primary subject matter expert representing People Compliance for data and analytics requests.

Identify emerging trends that are opportunities or threats to the company, while collaborating with internal partners, industry peers, and vendors to gain insight on best practices and roadmap benchmarking.

Partner with the People Compliance training team to support and facilitate the deployment of new processes and change management initiatives.

Synthesize and deliver transparent communication to business leadership teams, cross-functional workstreams, and executive stakeholders.

Develop new reporting, quick reference guides, FAQs, etc., as needed.

Communicate findings or trends in specific markets and recommend solutions for continuous improvement.

Lead compliance-related internal audits to identify patterns and determine the appropriate remediation strategy.

Lead compliance projects and initiatives that drive accountability.

Recognize change management needs and downstream impacts; and develop appropriate plans of action for each area/stakeholder.

Lead and manage four (4) direct reports.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

5 – 8 years of related experience in Workforce Management, Finance, Human Resources, or Employment Compliance. Restaurant or retail experience highly desired.

3-5 years of people management experience.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.

PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP certification preferred.

Experience with UKG (Kronos) Dimensions, or other leading workforce management software, is highly desirable.

Expertise in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in a variety of technology systems including MS Office product suite (Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), Workday, and ServiceNow. Possess the ability to adapt to new systems quickly.

Knowledge of data mining techniques to be able to extract, organize, filter, and analyze data to draw conclusions.

Demonstrated project management planning and execution experience, coupled with a proven track record of leading projects to obtain tangible business results.

Experience with typical restaurant operations, including business process optimization, timekeeping, attendance, and scheduling principles and processes.

Proven analytical ability to problem-solve, multi-task, and prioritize.

Strong written and oral communication skills, in addition to ability to visualize data that tells a compelling story.

Ability to perform and remain organized in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Proven ability to anticipate issues, problem-solve, and implement solutions.

Ability to work a flexible, full-time schedule that may include an occasional weekend day or holiday.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $84,000-$113,000. You are also eligible for annual cash bonuses and equity awards based upon performance and other factors. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
