Job Description

Job Summary - The Bore Locator will support all aspects of telecommunication installations including drilling, construction and maintenance of telecommunication structures, cables and data centers ensuring that work is performed in the safest manner possible with delivering a high-quality product to our customers.

Job Duties:

Helping Bore Operator find drilling locations.

Will help drilling and serving as communication between the Operator and Laborers.

Working on communications equipment and projects. May include installing, testing and repairing structures and equipment.

Takes direction from crew Foreman ensuring safety and quality standards are met while adhering to project budgets and timeline.

Review documentation with Foreman to prepare for the build, assemble the necessary materials, and determine the required installation methods.

Help supervise the tracking of all on-site inventory and materials.

Perform inspections, inventories, and audits as needed.

Collect, review, and submit all on-site closeout documentation per the deliverable timelines.

Assist training crew members on proper safety/quality standards.

Maintain issued equipment and report deficiencies as needed.

Experience and Education:

2-4 years Telecommunications experience High school diploma, general education degree (G.E.D.), or related trade school education 21 years of age minimum requirement OSHA 10 and First Aid/CPR preferred as well

Competencies/ Skills:

Strong written and verbal communication skills and team player attitude.

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to the set schedule.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions, if working outside.
