Job Overview:
The Residential Nurse Program Director/ QMHP-A LPC will be under the supervision of the Director of
Operations. The Residential Nurse Program Director/QMHP-A LPC must have leadership skills, must be
attentive to details, team player, driven, professional, result-orientated, reliable, dependable and must
be punctual. Must have a great understanding of MS Office and G Suite. Previous experience in this
position and in the same or similar industry is required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervise employees/staff in the group homes.
• Conduct assessments for both new and all individuals in the organization.
• Manage admission, discharge and transfer of individuals.
• Manage medications administration, storage, disposal, etc.
• Adhere to HIPAA law and respect individual’s privacy and confidentiality.
• Hire/fire, train, manage payroll, and evaluate employees and staff.
• Manage and inspect group homes, supplies, progress notes, and medication administrator
notes.
• Check in with the individuals receiving care.
• Ensure all progress notes and medication administration before the deadline.
• Check for accuracy of information and deadlines in the company’s documentation software.
• Maintains the privacy of employees and individuals.
• Create Individual Support Plans and ensure that staff follows them.
• Work with Support Coordinator, individuals and their guardians.
• Ensure all group homes are fully stocked and order new supplies.
• Create and/or oversee group homes individual’s daily activities, meal plan, medication
management/documentation etc.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document individual’s needs, irregularities, and all care provided according to company’s
policies and procedures.
• Willing to work as a Direct Support Professional and cover shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Conferred Master’s degree in CACREP or in a counseling focused degree offered by a college or
university accredited by a regional accrediting agency.
• LPC license in the state of Virginia.
• Qualified Mental Health Professional – Adult (QMHP-A) license in the State of Virginia.
• LPN License in the state of Virginia.
• Proven 5+ prior experience as a Nurse, QMHP-A LPC, and Director, and in the same or similar
industry field is required.
• Excellent work history, and minimum 5 worked years per company/job.
• Have a great understanding of MS Office and Google Suite.
• 3 professional references, 2 personal references.
• Can easily adapt to change, and a fast learner.
• Honest, kind, and attentive to details.
• Excellent communication abilities in english, both written and vocal. (English: Full Professional
Proficiency required). Bilingual is a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to do and pass a background check, physical and drug test.
• Negative TB test result.
• Valid First Aid & CPR.
• Valid Medication Aide Certificate.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to stand 0-100% of the time.
• Able to travel 0-100% of the time.
