Administrative Assistant - Logistics Company - Base Salary to 40k/year â Columbus, OH

Our client, a third-party logistics company, proves professional hand loading or unloading of freight truck and shipping containers at warehouses and distribution centers throughout the country. They are looking for an Administrative Assistant in their Columbus, OH location!

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the General Manager of the site.

Responsibilities:

Participates in the activities of any number of projects at various stages of work to ensure the accurate completion of projects. Responsible for all data entry for all workers (hours or weight) into Lotus Notes.

Responsible for helping schedule employee interviews

Responsible for all employment documents (i.e., new hire onboarding documents, W-4, termination documents, etc.) and sending to corporate office.

Responsible for maintaining the personnel file system to include creating, updating and purging of files.

Responsible for the tracking of all training certificates.

Payroll â review reconciliation data, make any necessary revisions to data and submit to GM to release payroll for processing.

Performs administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, transcribing handwritten information, developing correspondence, documents and reports.

Qualifications:

At least 1+ years of administrative assistant experience

Highschool diploma/GED

Must be bilingual in Spanish

Compensation:

Base salary in the 35k - 40k/year range, flexible dependent on experience. Our client also offers Health benefits, PTO, etc.
