Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change

Position Responsibilities of the Service Tech

Troubleshoot and diagnose a wide array of electrical issues

Repair issues that are found

Problem-solving skills

Customer service skills

Manage material, deadlines, and quality control

Repair and replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures

Closely follow all state/local building regulations from the National Electrical Code

Experience and Qualification Requirements of the Service Tech

Minimum of Five years of documented work in commercial electrical installation

Minimum Two years of experience as a Service Technician preferred, but not required

Demonstrated knowledge and application of duties, responsibilities and expectations as applies to size and type of project

Demonstrated ability to supervise, evaluate and develop Journeymen and Apprentices

Clean Driving Record

Effective Communicator - Able to verbally communicate work instructions, able to use written communication skills at an average or above-average ability, basic ability to demonstrate computer skills.

Team Player - Ability to work irregular and extended work hours to include weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts

Physical Requirements

Must be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, bending, squatting, sitting and lifting

Must be able to speak English and hear to communicate

Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls and tools

Must be able to pick up, lift, carry and move up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and stairways, and occasionally work off of platforms/scaffolding, (using the appropriate fall protection requirements)

Must be able to work in all weather conditions (including heat, rain, cold and wind) while wearing appropriate PPE

Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to: hard hat, safety glasses, ear plugs, masks/respirators, hi-vis safety vests, gloves and safety toe, construction-grade work boots
