A Plus owns and operates it’s own large range of diverse plant/equipment and due to our increasing growth we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, driven and motivated Maintenance Planner to oversee and manage our operational fleet
Your new role
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our team. The successful candidate will plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment uptime and productivity. This person will create effective maintenance plans and ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out according to plan.
Job Responsibilities:
Create and maintain effective maintenance plans for all equipment and facilities
Schedule maintenance activities and ensure that all work is carried out according to plan
Ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production or affect safety
Develop and maintain a spare parts inventory
Analyze equipment downtime and identify opportunities for improvement
Participate in the development of capital projects to improve equipment reliability and performance
Monitor maintenance costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Provide training and guidance to maintenance technicians
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or related field
3+ years of experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
Knowledge of maintenance management software (CMMS)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
