Salary: $60-$75 per session

LPR International is seeking experienced, licensed clinicians to support our client with their telehealth services. Our client, a nonprofit mental health practice focused on relationship counseling, serves clients in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Please note that this is a remote position, as our client only offers telehealth counseling services. We are accepting cover letters and resumes for:

Any LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT who has a current MD License with at least 1-2 years of outpatient mental health experience. (MD and DC License preferred. VA License is a bonus).

Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC, LGC) may be considered.

In addition to being a Licensed mental health professional, Gottman and Prepare-Enrich trained is preferred. If not already trained, we are willing to train you.

Essential Functions:

This position is responsible for providing mental health outpatient counseling to clients as part of our telehealth program and completing all required documentation to keep clients’ records updated according to legal/ethical guidelines of the profession as well as insurance company requirements. The clinician will strive to build a therapeutic rapport with their clients and provide appropriate evidenced-based treatment.

Provide mental health therapy to clients within the scope of training/experience/licensure

Respond to client crises as necessary and make recommendations to keep the client safe and ensure all company safety measures are followed

Complete progress notes, with signature, and other documentation to keep client’s record up to date and submit billing within 24 hours of the session time

Adhere to legal and ethical guidelines of the profession as well as adhere to documentation and billing requirements of insurance companies

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude in interactions with others

Complete timesheet on a bi-weekly basis

Develop a rapport with clients in order to facilitate a healthy therapeutic relationship.

Maintain Continuing Education credits and all necessary requirements to keep licensure active. (We will pay for some CE credits)

Demonstrate self-motivated attitude and ability to perform responsibilities of position with limited supervision

Maintain open communication with other members of the team

Demonstrate the ability to effectively multitask

Follow and implement company policies and procedures as outlined in the company employee handbook

Keep work area clean and organized

Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and techniques and display a teachable attitude when learning a new skill

Perform related work as assigned

Possess excellent interpersonal skills; able to get along well with a diverse group of people; clients and co-workers.

An adherence to following HIPAA laws and confidentiality standards pertaining to patient information.

Make decisions independently based on what is best for clients and the company.

Must be able to operate basic office equipment such as telephones and computers.

Speak, write, read and understand the English language well enough to perform the essential duties of the job.

Possess the dexterity to use the required tools to accomplish the tasks of the position.

Possess cultural competence and humility

Education/Experience Requirements:

Masters in Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Doctorate of Psychology required.

Licensure for State of MD and District of Columbia (LCPC, LPC, LCSW, LSW, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist) required.

Gottman and Prepare-Enrich trained. On job training available.

Possess and demonstrate sound clinical and professional judgement.

Must be able to use computer software, such as electronic health record and google docs.

Must have computer with a camera for telehealth via Zoom
