WHAT YOU WILL DO

Key Responsibilities:

Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for services provided.

Submit accurate and timely claims to various insurance companies.

Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframes.

Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discounts.

Resolve discrepancies and handle insurance billing inquiries.

Prepare, review, and send patient statements.

Maintain up-to-date records of billing and payment transactions.

Collaborate with healthcare providers and finance team to optimize billing processes.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing/coding or accounts receivable.

Comprehensive knowledge of commercial insurance policies, regulations, and billing procedures.

Proficient in medical billing software and MS Office Suite.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
