Job Description
We are seeking a National Type Evaluation Program (NTEP) Evaluator to join our team!
Duties:
Evaluate weighing and measuring devices for conformance to U.S. standards.
Maintain a well-organized and clean laboratory.
Receive assignments and schedule evaluations with applicants.
Travel as needed to complete assignments in an expedient manner.
Perform evaluations as prescribed by NCWM Publication 14.
Document evaluations and data.
Communicate processes and deficiencies with applicants.
Submit regular reports of status of evaluations to NCWM.
Draft Certificates of Conformance.
Submit evaluation reports, including all findings and data, to NCWM.
Attend and contribute to discussions at NTEP meetings.
Maintain and submit time reports and expense reports.
Competencies:
Knowledge of the U.S. weights and measures system
Working knowledge of NIST Handbook 44 and NCWM Publication 14
Time Management, planning, and organization

Technical writing skills
Computer skills, including keyboarding, MS Word, Excel, Outlook
