Maintenance Position

Penmac Staffing is seeking candidates for an Industrial Maintenance position with a local Springfield company. This is a Temp-to-Hire position, our client is looking for a full-time candidate. This company has been in business for 21 years and manufactures wood products.

Responsibilities:

Perform hydraulics and electrical system maintenance on various equipment.

Conduct preventative maintenance on forklifts, including routine oil changes and inspections.

Utilize basic welding skills when necessary for repairs or improvements.

Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime.

Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance needs effectively.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, and forklift preventative maintenance.

Basic welding skills are highly desirable.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Schedule:

Standard Hours: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Occasional Saturdays and night shifts may be required.

Compensation:

$25.00 per hour.
