The Role

The Production Associate – Level 1 is a full-time position responsible to serve within the production team. The production team is essentially a job shop with wide ranging activities including equipment assembly, equipment repair, equipment testing, minor fabrication, etc. Timely, successful, and profitable completion of all assigned jobs is critical.

Points of responsibility include:

Execute jobs assigned ensuring quality timely completion – this needs to be done with limited time, conflicting priorities, unpredicted emergency jobs which often arise, limited budgets and limited resources.

Pick and assemble parts

Use engineer drawings to pull parts

Superb desk management – we are a tidy and well-organized workplace.

Have a sales mindset – have the mindset “is what I am doing right now fulfilling an existing requirement for sales, or will my activities right now lead to future sales for the company.”

Ensure the products/services produced by the Production team are delivered on time and in exceptional condition.

Minimal travel required, if any.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Ability to read prints, follow directions, use of basic hand tools (drills, saws, impact guns) - THIS IS A MUST

Assembly and Production experience

Excellent written & verbal communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Dependability – showing up on time every day.

Ability to solve problems and communicate improvements to prevent similar problems occurring in the future.

Brilliant execution skills, never being found guilty of procrastination

Basic computer skills
