Job Description

CNY Fertility Center Sarasota, FL is seeking a full-time Embryologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, a team player, technically skilled, and be highly motivated. Applicant must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, be able to communicate accurately and concisely, have the ability to work successfully under stressful conditions, and must be capable of adapting to varying workloads. Weekend and holiday rotation is required. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Main Function: To perform all assigned procedures in the Embryology laboratory

Responsibilities

Perform oocyte retrieval, oocyte insemination, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, fertilization and cleavage assessment, embryo biopsy, embryo transfer, oocyte/embryo cryopreservation, media/dish preparation, sperm identification following PESA, TESE, and biopsy in accordance with policies and procedures.

Perform required quality control and quality assurance in accordance with policies and procedures.

Maintain stock of necessary reagents and materials.

Participate in a minimum of 12 hours of continuing education annually.

Lift and carry petri dishes, laboratory equipment, supplies, liquid nitrogen dewars, samples and other materials safely throughout the work area.Perform other related duties as assigned.

Experience: At least 1-year prior human IVF experience
