Catalog Manager

We are seeking a skilled Catalog Manager to oversee our Shopify platform and ensure efficient management of our product catalog and shopfront customisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in e-commerce and a deep understanding of Shopify's functionalities. This role involves maintaining and optimizing our online catalog to enhance customer experience and drive sales.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the product catalog on Shopify, including product uploads, updates, and organization.

• Ensure accurate product listings.

• Optimize product pages for SEO to improve search rankings and visibility.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure availability of products.

• Implement strategies to enhance product discoverability and cross-selling opportunities.

• Collaborate with marketing teams to create engaging content for product pages.

• Analyze catalog performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

• Stay updated with Shopify platform updates and industry trends to leverage new features and functionalities.

• Manage and oversee Shopify homepage, collections, blog articles, pages as required with supplied content

Requirements:

• Proven experience in e-commerce catalog management with Shopify.

• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and their application in e-commerce.

• High proficiency in using Shopify's backend systems for catalog management.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to optimize catalog performance.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with digital marketing concepts and their impact on product catalog management.

• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Certification in Shopify.

• Prior experience with inventory management and supply chain processes.

• Experience with third-party Shopify apps and integrations for catalog management.

• 3-5 years of experience with a relevant luxury handcrafted/textile brand.
