Irrigation Technician

PrideNow is hiring an Irrigation Technician with plumbing experience! This is a direct hire placement with our horticulture solutions client based in Dallas, TX 75254. Candidates must be comfortable with extensive travel throughout the US. Candidates from all states are invited to apply!

Pay range: $21-$45/hr. dependent on experience

Job Duties:

Follow safety practices for personal protection, protection of fellow workers, and the protection of the public in accordance with the company safety manual.

Understand and implement personal and company safety by adhering to all safety requirements.

Requires the ability to review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion

Operation of test equipment such as pressure testing and Ph

Solvent glue, soldering, crimping, expanding, compression fit, and fusion welding experience an asset

Underground pressure pipe and drainage installations

Troubleshooting experience

Placement, connection, and start of water equipment

Distribution equipment installation and connection

Working at heights

Greenhouse construction subject to high temperatures

Operation, testing, calibration, and programming of irrigation/fertigation

Storage tank placement and pond liner install

Understanding of P&ID drawings

Manage sub trades and construction activities

Required Function:

Greenhouse: 2 years (preferred)

plumbing: 2 years (preferred)

To be considered for this position you must be a Plumber or Technician

Must be able to travel internationally for long periods

Valid Driver’s License

Excellent verbal communication skills

Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials, and various other specifications

Computer skills, Word, Excel
