Reports To: Director of Sales & Marketing

**FLSA Status: Exempt ITAR Statement This position requires compliance with ITAR requirements. Must be a “U.S. Person” (per ITAR 120.15) and are required to show proof substantiating this upon being hired

Location Northern Westchester 2-3 days a week in office.

PROVEN SUCCESS IN Technical sales to companies in AEROSPACE, CHEMICAL, ENERGY, DEPARTMENT OF DEFENSE, CHEMICAL FIRMS.

TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

BS in business, marketing, or engineering

3-5 years of relevant sales experience working with a technical, manufactured product

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Proficient in CAD software

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

SUMMARY

We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales activities in the region. In this role track and report on sales goals, while working to increase sales and distribution in your assigned region. Our ideal candidate has a strong history of successful sales management, possesses innate leadership qualities, excels in maintaining client and vendor relationships, and has a real passion for sharing the benefits our products offer.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintain expert level of product and applications knowledge.

Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

Oversee the coordination and transfer of new orders between sales, engineering, the customer, and manufacturing to ensure accurate design and compliance with customer specifications.

Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence in company approved databases.

Analyze monthly sales outcomes and create reports for upper management

Build and maintain positive client and customer relationships

Research, attend, and participate in relevant trade shows.

Contributor to the marketing team and supports in the generation of content used in the sales process

Support Product Manager with the design requirements of new products from customers

40-50% travel required

Periodic onsite meetings required

Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.

Creativity and self-motivation to identify potential projects.

Experience forecasting sales and building a customer base

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task.
