Company Description

Want a career with plenty of development opportunities? How about the ability to make an impact within a growing company? Or maybe you just want to work somewhere that treats you like more than just a number? Then you should consider a career at ETE REMAN, one of the largest and most diverse transmission remanufacturers in the nation.Job Description

In our Valve Body Department, every valve body is completely disassembled – every valve, bore, spring, clip, plug, and solenoid is completely inspected. Once all components pass inspection, they are cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaning machine using cleaning detergents. The components and the valve body are then delivered to our trained valve body technicians. Each valve body is carefully updated and built to our specifications.

Lastly, each is tested using a program specifically designed for testing the valve body alone without the transmission. Every data point is reviewed and kept on file for our Research & Development Department. The valve body is then bagged and tagged, identifying the application and the build team it was built for.

In this department you have the opportunity to be a:

Valve Body Builder – you build quality valve bodies which are the brains of our remanufactured transmissions. Building high quality valve bodies are a priority along with verifying that parts are in good condition and meet our specifications. You will work with a team and are expected to build at minimum, two valve bodies per hour.

Valve Body Cutter - you are responsible for cutting valve body’s which are the heart of our remanufactured transmissions. Cutting a valve body is a priority along with verifying that the tools are in good condition and meet our specifications. You will work with a team and are expected to spend no more than 5 minutes per valve body.

Valve Body Teardown - you play a big part of the team by disassembling valve bodies and other sensitive components for washers and builders which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent washing essential parts that are an essential part of the “brain” of a transmission.

Solenoid Tester - you hold an important role in our remanufacturing process. You will be responsible for testing each solenoid to verify whether it can be used in our transmissions. Your decision will be based on data and feedback from a testing machine. You will work with others in your department to verify that solenoids are acceptable.

Solenoid Builder - you are responsible for building and repairing solenoids which provide electrical current throughout our remanufactured transmissions. Building quality solenoids are a priority along with verifying that parts are in good condition and meet our specifications. You will work with a team and are expected to build at minimum, four solenoids per hour.

Pump Mover - you play a big part of the team in providing quality parts to our Pump Builders which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent identifying parts and sorting them for reconditioning. You will also deliver good, quality parts to our Pump Builders and transport materials between the Pump Department and Machine Shop.

Pump Dryer - you play a big part of the team by preparing quality parts trays for our Pump Builders which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions.
