Job Description

Job Summary: The IT Administrator at Q LLC is a foundational role within our Information Technology department, responsible for providing technical support, maintaining IT systems, and ensuring smooth operations across the organization's technology infrastructure. This position plays a vital role in supporting end-users, troubleshooting technical issues, and assisting in the implementation of IT projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding hardware, software, and network-related issues.

Install, configure, and maintain IT systems, including servers, workstations, printers, and other network devices.

Monitor and manage system backups and data recovery processes.

Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

Collaborate with IT team members and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and antivirus scans.

Assist in the documentation of IT processes, procedures, and system configurations.

Conduct user training sessions on IT tools and applications as needed.

Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.

Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.

Assist in inventory management of IT assets and equipment.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).

Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.

Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Basic understanding of IT security principles and best practices.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
