Job Description
The Payroll Auditor will work as part of the Global Home Office international payroll team. In this role, the Payroll Auditor, with legislative support from a regional payroll partner, will process payrolls for multiple countries outside the US. This position will report directly to a Payroll Manager.
This job is located at our Global Home Office in Columbus, Ohio.
What Will You Be Doing?
Process and load HR and Time & Attendance interface files from the HR system (PeopleSoft) to the payroll system (GlobalView) for assigned country payrolls
Input manual changes and adjustments into payroll system
Audit assigned country payrolls to ensure inputs match calculation results
Work directly with payroll provider (ADP) on required system changes and/or updates
Proactively and consistently identify and drive opportunities for improvement
Build strong and collaborative relationships with team members, business partners, and leaders to understand and ultimately resolve business challenges
Work in collaboration with regionally based payroll auditors to resolve associates’ payroll-related questions and concerns in a timely and thoughtful manner
What Do You Need To Bring?
Associate’s Degree preferred, or related experience
1-3 years of Payroll or related experience preferred
PeopleSoft HR and/or ADP GlobalView experience preferred
Communicates in a highly effective yet approachable manner and able to communicate with all levels of the business; timely/appropriate escalation of payroll issues to lead/supervisor/manager
Ability to execute tasks and meet critical deadlines in a thorough, poised, accurate, and timely manner while managing multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced and often-changing environment
Ability to balance timely completion and/or resolution of tasks with quality results
High level of attention to detail and meticulous follow-through coupled with the flexibility to shift requirements and expectations, due to ever-changing needs of the business
A collaborative approach to work; builds strong partnerships with business partners
Self-motivated, self-starting, and creative thinker; shows resiliency in problem-solving
