A typical day looks like:

Coordinate seamlessly with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and our dedicated project team to orchestrate the flawless execution of our projects.

Ensure strict adherence to construction contracts with owners, subcontractors, and vendors, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Drive efficiency by expediting materials and services for the job site in collaboration with our experienced superintendent.

Lead the charge in scheduling and managing meetings throughout each phase of construction and preconstruction, keeping stakeholders informed and engaged.

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to manage project budget, revisions, cost projections, and cash flow, while also assisting in generating insightful reports.

Provide invaluable support by reviewing and coordinating structural, architectural, and MEP drawings, ensuring meticulous attention to detail at every stage.

Assist in overseeing change management processes, collecting and analyzing trade contractor proposals for scope changes, and negotiating fair pricing for additional work.

Take ownership of the entire Request for Information (RFI) process, maintaining accurate logs and ensuring timely distribution to the team as needed.

Champion the submittal process, initiating reviews, maintaining comprehensive logs, and facilitating approvals to keep projects on track and on schedule.

Actively participate in project meetings, fostering collaboration and alignment with key stakeholders, including owners, architects, and contractors.

Do you have what it takes?

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-3 years of previous related experience is required, with co-op experience considered a plus.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills, coupled with the ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity and confidence.

Proven expertise in budgeting, expense control, and financial analysis, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and construction management software, demonstrating your ability to leverage technology for optimal project outcomes.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask effectively, prioritize workload, and consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve shared goals.

A passion for excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional results, even when faced with challenges.

Willingness to go above and beyond, including occasional overtime hours and participation in company events and meetings to contribute to our collective success.
