A construction company in Hamilton, VA (between Leesburg and Purcellville) seeks a full-time Fleet Mechanic who has experience in diesel and heavy truck repair. We have a 5-bay fleet shop with lifts to service our fleet. The candidate will service our fleet of company trucks, along with construction equipment and tools. The candidate would provide mentoring of junior mechanics and perform all duties required to maintain trucks and equipment in working order. A Senior level mechanic will be considered for the Shop Foreman position. Junior mechanics can also find a home here honing their skills, learning from Senior mechanics, and growing in experience and training.

Our trucks are mostly medium duty and include International 4200s & 4300's, GMC Kodiak 6500s & 5500s, and Ford F250s. Equipment includes Bobcat skid loaders & attachments, forklifts, roller compactors, jersey buggies, mortar mixers, and various small engine equipment.

Duties would include engine work, transmission work, electrical work, tires, air brakes, hydraulics, etc... Familiarization with computerized diagnostic software such as Tech2, NexIQ, ServiceMaxx, and GM Tech Tool is necessary. A CDL license would be a bonus and provide you with additional pay.

A review and raise are scheduled after 90 days, and again every year. You can also expect the following:
