Hiring Three butcher helpers-meat processing
- Completion of secondary school is preferred, but not required.
- Having meat processing related experience is an asset, but not required.
- On-the-job training will be provided for butcher helpers.
- English is required for this position.
Main duties:
-Receive/offload/transport/organize raw meats, finished products and packaging materials throughout plant manually or with powered equipment that are delivered on a daily basis.
-Review meat production schedules to determine variety and quantity of meats
-Temperature checks, cleaning schedules and food safety procedures
- Thoroughly inspect and clean all cuts of meat according to regulations and health department standards
-Assist in keeping all butchery utensils, equipment and work areas clean
-Check meat products for basic quality defects
-Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the butcher/manager in charge
Working Condition:
- $18.00 per hour, 4% vacation fee of gross salary or 10 days paid vacation, extended health benefit (after three months of employment), meal provided at work, 10% discount at H-Mart.
- 40 hours per week (permanent & full-time position) including evening and weekend shifts
