Job Description:
Our client is seeking an Audio / Video Technician for a large law firm in the the Washington, D.C. Metro area. This candidate will be responsible for providing the operational support of the Video Conference Network and its peripherals both locally and in conjunction with other offices, as well as providing back-up support to the Washington office IT department.
SALARY:
$40,000 - $75,000, plus great benefits.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
1. At least 3 years AV work in a professional services firm or with a technical firm BUT must have provided AV/VC solutions.
2. A comprehensive technical understanding of AV/VC technologies is required such as Creston control systems, Cisco/Tandberg and Polycom Video Conferencing Systems including TMS and bridge operation, sound reinforcement and basic camera operations.
3. Must also be experience with Tandberg Network devices such as TMS, Gateways, Gatekeepers, Expressway, Multi-point control units and multi-point Servers .
4. Desirable: Crestron Processors and Interfaces, Crestron Programming/source code up-load and minor program/code changes/amendments or other technical qualifications.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Schedule any and all conferences.
2. Will directly interact with video-conference users to provide remote phone based, and or in-room support/troubleshooting for real time and scheduled video-conference bridges.
LOCATION:
DC near the metro
HOURS:
Monday - Friday 9 to 5:30pm.
