Clearance Needed: TS/ISSA
The selected Systems Engineer will provide system administration in building and maintaining the foundation architecture to support structured and unstructured data. The selected candidate will be a member of a dynamic team that develops, deploys and maintains multiple high-performance, clustered back end systems as well as custom front-end (UI) applications.
1 Minimum of three years experience performing system administration 2 Expert with Unix Administration 3 Experience in building and maintaining a clustered high performance Linux cluster 4 Experience with NetApp Administration 5 Ability to work effectively with customers, system architects, and developers to identify and shape requirements that meet performance and Infosec requirements.
1 Experience or ability to perform HADOOP System Administration 2 Experience installing and monitoring NoSQL technologies (Cassandra, HBase) 3 Experience installing and monitoring NoSQL Data Warehouse technologies (HIVE) 4 Experience installing and monitoring Lucene 5 Experience installing and monitoring Tomcat 6 Experience installing and monitoring Pentaho 7 Experience with/knowledge of relational database systems 8 Expertise in CentOS/Linux and/or Red Hat 9 Experience installing and maintaining OpenLDAP 10 Experience installing and maintaining BIND/DNS 11 Understanding of networks and Linux configurations with multiple network interfaces (Understanding of Bonding, a plus) 12 Experience handling Auditd and syslog (or rsyslog) configurations and maintain the auditing data from the OS and applications 13 Experience configuring and maintaining Linux Systems using AutoFS and Cluster aware tools (like pdsh) to ensure configuration remain close to identical 14 Experience with sudo configuration 15 Experience with netgroups 16 Ability to participate in the testing of firewall attacks, setups, configuration, and maintenance 17 Expertise in information security.
