Location: Salem- NH
Job Summary: Estimator needed for Construction Company to work on some of the most unique, challenging, and complex projects in the Northeast. Plan, coordinate and prepare construction cost estimates primarily for water and wastewater treatment or other hard bid construction projects. Needed strong estimator with industrial piping experience. Review project specifications, drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. • Water and wastewater treatment
• Waste to energy
• Pharmaceutical
• Power generation
• Hazardous and environmental
• Manufacturing
• Food and beverage
Requirements:
• 10-15 years experience estimating and with an Estimator title.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Engineering, or estimating or equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience.
• Experience with HCSS and/or Timberline Estimating Systems and Primavera Scheduling.
• Recent experience in Heavy Industrial Construction Estimating
Education/Experience:
• Miscellaneous Metal and Structural Steel Experience.
• Must have all trades take-off experience.
• Proficient in Excel
• Project $ Value experience should be in the $2M - $25M range
• Knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing required.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, purchase orders, contracts, and cost coding system.
