JR. Web Designer/Developer

Making of a Mogul is a fashion advertising, public relations, and marketing company that specializes in unique as well as mid to high end luxury fashion. We need several people with a strong interest in fashion, beauty and lifestyle to fill a variety of positions.
Essential job function: The ideal candidate will possess an ability to understand and refine on a strong brand vision, excellent communication, organizational, and problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team.
Your responsibilities:
• Make sure that the online design is consistent with the brand
• Work with management to maintain branding and design consistency across the website and throughout marketing efforts.
• Semi Knowledgeable of all interactive technologies and tools to ensure feasibility and delivery of design projects.
• Heavy production on certain elements of the site to include: promotional updates, headers, small navigational graphics and seasonal corporate imagery
• Conceptualize and execute on design requests from sketch to finished product.
• Creating complex web editorials around unique concepts while working with programmers to ensure the process of moving from design to a fully functional website with interactive features
• Collaborating daily with management to ensure that the needs of the group are being communicated clearly across our web platform and all deadlines are met
• Design of email marketing campaigns
• Effectively present initial creative concepts and communicate functionality
• Daily interactions with creative team to ensure content fits within the parameters of design and supports all projects
Light coding
Qualifications:
• Web design experience (e-commerce experience a plus)
• Some knowledge of latest web and traditional design standards
• Photoshop, illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, drupal, magneto, presta-shop
Quark Express and Adobe InDesign.
• Knowledge of CMS, JavaScript, CSS protocol preferred
• Experience working on fashion websites preferred
• Good understanding of email marketing standards, interactive design principles
