Job Description:
Software Engineer - Progress 4GL
Remote (work from home)
$60-85k +full benefits
1+ years Progress Application Development experience
Bachelors Degree
We are in need of multiple Software Engineers with Progress experience for an outstanding client of ours. The Progress Engineers will work on a project-by-project basis alongside various representatives from marketing, banking, capital markets, client relations, operations, and legal compliance acting as a technical lead and implementing business logic in support of our client's application. The software created by the Software Engineer will integrate with other software created by Business Services Developers and Engineers.
Position Requirements:
- Two to four years of application development experience in Progress 4GL.
- Five plus years of experience in general software development methodologies.
- Four plus years of collaborative development experience.
- Strong experience in all aspects of the software lifecycle.
- Related experience in software testing and design desired.
- Team-oriented experience highly desired.
- Superb attention to detail.
- Good oral and written communication skills regardless of audience.
- Willing to work with the company’s programming standards.
- Bachelor's degree in software development/related field or equivalent work experience.
- Established work portfolio.
