Project: FOX River Watershed Project
Responsibilities: Developing and analyzing GIS databases for HSPF model using ESRI GIS, BASINS and BASINS-HSPF. Examining FIS profile, DEM with DOQ and topomap for watershed characterization. Processed STATSGO and SSURGO soil database for the model. Completing documentation and metadata. Writing procedures, creating maps, charts, documents for report.
Developing HSPF model for 31 tributary watersheds and mainstem watershed. Prepared climate data for these 32 watershed models, processes NPDES data, analyzing and calibrating/validating hydrology for mainstem and tributary watershed models. Completed parameterization of Water Quality constituents, currently performing calibration tests.
Water Supply Planning Project:
Developed HSPF model for the Fox River Watershed (adding upstream from Wisconsin) for the Water Supply Planning Project. Delineated Watershed and subwatershed, prepared input data, prepared climate data and assign climate stations to the subwatersheds. Run HSPF model for hydrology simulation. Completed HSPF model for Fox River Watershed including Wisconsin part by calibrating and validating the model.

Project: The development of a 2-D large basin runoff model for the Great Lakes Basin,
Project leader and organization: Professor Chansheng He of Western Michigan University and Dr. Thomas Croley of the NOAA Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, Ann Arbor, MI.
Responsibilities: Developing and analyzing input database, creating input parameters for model by using ESRI GIS for watersheds and perform other GIS analysis. Derived model inputs for 13 watersheds across the Great Lake Basins
Great Lakes Summer Student Fellow and GIS Operator: 05/04-08/2004,
Project: The development of parameters for Next Generation Large Basin Runoff Model (2-D large basin runoff model).
Organization: Jointly offered by the NOAA, Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory, and the Cooperative Institute for Limnology and Ecosystems Research of University of Michigan. Conducted at Western Michigan University.
