DECwindows/MOTIF, DECforms, DECNET, Network & VAXcluster Management,
VMS System Administration, ULTRIX & C, VAX Device Driver, VAX Performance
Tuning, Utilies & commands, ACMS, Pathworks. ORACLE Corp. training for: SQLPLUS,
SQLFORMS, SQLDBA, and System Architecture for their relational database package.

IBM Corp.training for AS/400 COBOL, Intro. to Programming Facilities AS/400, RPG/400
Interactive Programming, CL Programming, AIX/6000 TCP/IP Networking.

Powersoft Introduction to PowerBuilder.

Microsoft Introduction to Visual Basic.

SUN Microsystems training for the JAVA programming lanuage & environment.

Professional Experience:
------------------------
2006 - 2007 Wrenchead.com
Designed, coded, and tested query functions for a proprietary inventory
database package, and the user interface was also enhanced with the Vermont Views GUI library, using C running under Linux &UNIX.

1997 to 2005 - Mizuho Securities,Inc.
Designed & implemented X-windows, and modified TCP/IP socket programs for front-office
fixed income trading applications using XVIEW, C, the Bloomberg Multi-product Feed
and Fixed Income Auto Execution Packet Protocols, EXO-Code GUI builder.
Developed PERL scripts to manipulate and package trade data for upload to a Backend
system for processing. Implemented indexed file retrieval and updates.

Prior:
1995-1997 - ReadQ Systems, Inc.
Created and enhanced X-windows programs for a front-office repo securities trading
system using SYBASE on SUN workstations. I have used DEV-GUIDE to create screens
for some application modules which were manipulated with the XVIEW function library.
Windows for other applications were manipulated with MOTIF. The programming was
done in C. Shell script command procedures were also written to do database validation.

1992-1995 - Global Information Technologies
Created data entry and query screen using SMALLTALK and VisualWorks. The user
interface contained popup menus and windows. Developed a personnel database update
and query system on a UNIX workstation using SYBASE, MOTIF, and C. Created
normalized tables and associated triggers, indexes, and rpc's with the isql utility. Coded
the screen and database functions using X-MOTIF and Transact-SQL calls of
SYBASE. An ad-hoc query facility was implemented whereby requests from an entry screen
would beparsed and converted to dynamic SQL statements. The application user
interface contains many popup menus and windows for information display, user input
prompts, and messages.

Electronic Funds Transfer experience includes:
1981-1990
Development of a CHIPS communications interface system; Enhanced and maintained
systems that managed bank DDA accounts for businesses and institutions which received
and transmitted message traffic to and from the Federal Reserve Bank; Off-line processing
of telegraphic transactions. Tasks included: Multi-threaded off-line tape generation; operator console
interfaces; creation and modification of indirect command procedure files under
VAX/VMS running with the Intranet package NEXSYS using PASCAL and DCL. Other tasks
were: message parsing and formatting; account database updates; generating CRT
screen layouts and processing their inputs; production of off-line and on-line reports;
recovery processing; off-line tape generation; operator console interfaces; creation and
modification of indirect command procedure files; perform system generations;
interaction with user for determination of specifications on PDP-11 systems under RSX
using FORTRAN, MACRO-11, and MCR.

Other transaction processing projects included:
Participation in the development of a passenger reservation system performing tasks that
included writing a communications line driver; message routing, queuing, and function
dispatching; the creation of library routines to provide communications functions called
by the application programs; recovery; perform system generations on PDP-11 systems
under IAS using MACRO-11, FORTRAN, and MCR. Participation in the development of a
hospital management system that used a network of microprocessor based point-of-sale
terminals to maintain patient records and perform patient billing. Tasks included: writing
a communications line driver to communicate with the network; coded line and peripheral
device management command functions; enhanced a disk driver to access fixed head disk
space; formatting and parsing messages; setup the loading of the database; wrote a
command language interpreter for on-line and off-line database maintenance;
perform system generations; designed file record layouts on PDP-11 systems under RSX using
MACRO-11, FORTRAN, and MCR.

Telecomparticipation in the development of a message switching system. Tasks performed
included: writing queue management library subroutines; programming line and routing
table management functions using assembly language on a Philips system.
