• Established online SPC system to evaluate and eliminate potential scrap causes and reduced scrap cost by $750,000 in first year of product life

• Managed the logistics of scheduling mold changes and length of mold runs based on continually changing customer demands for all 3 shifts
• Developed SMED activities for all mold changes, reducing mold change times from 4 hours to under 30 minutes
• Implemented system that utilized the EOAT more efficiently with both Wittman and Yushin robotic systems that increased output, reduced scrap, and allowed the machines to run without dependence on operator

Shift Supervisor, Mergon Corporation (2004 – 2005)
• Managed the daily operations of 35+ production operators and all support personnel in a 24 hour, 7 day work week blow molding facility
• Improved company profit by reducing overall shift scrap from 9% to 1.1%, a profit margin of 3.9% over originally established job estimate
• Lead the creation and implementation of LEAN manufacturing and 5S system within the production facility
• Established Visual Management system and a KANBAN system to pull orders from warehouse to the production floor
• Trained all operators and supervisors in use of calipers, micrometers, ultrasonic thickness gauges, and pressure testing for SPC reporting to management

• Managed the daily operations of all supervisors and 70+ employees in a compression molding facility
