Job Description:
How We Write Postings
Astreya Infrastructure Services writes brief but very specific postings. We skip the usual 2 years of this, four years of that HR stuff. If you have the specific skill we need, you probably have all the other things the job will require. Please title your email with something from the posting so we know who should review your resume.
If you don't have the narrow skill we're looking for but would like us to see your mid-level or above sys admin, network engineer or project management resume anyway, please send it along to recruiting@astreya.com with a suitable title rather than as an inappropriate response to a specific posting. We'll think better of you for doing so.
What We Especially Need Right Away
Senior Level Linux Architect with a strong expertise with Perl, EMC/SAN and Disaster Recovery. Demonstrable experience in specifying complex systems that were actually implemented is required
Who You Are
As always, our clients like pro-active, easy-going communicators to techno-snobs and hide in the corner types. That said, a winning personality won't get you past our intensive screening and the customers technical due diligence. You'll need to be a problem solver and an exceptional troubleshooter. Experience working with large scale production websites or very large data centers also strongly desired.
Turkey-Free Astreya's Infrastructure Systems organization is an elite turkey-free team of systems and network engineers who prefer the variety of assignment based work. All Astreya team members are regular employees with good benefits including paid time off. You'll also get all the technical and interpersonal support and problem solving you need to be happily productive.
If you qualify this is as good as it gets in IT infrastructure work.
