Why is This a Great Opportunity? The Regional Senior Credit Officer II – Capital Markets Division is responsible for monitoring the quality of the Capital Markets’ Division Credit corporate-wide exposures. Job Description: SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES: • In conjunction with the Chief Credit Officer, the Regional Senior Credit Officer II – Capital Markets Division maintains primary responsibility for approving, monitoring and directing strategies and procedures related to capital market product credit exposures for customers of the Capital Markets’ Division. • The Regional Senior Credit Officer II – Capital Markets Division works with the Capital Markets Division, Regional Senior Credit Officers, and banking managers to monitor the quality of the capital market credit exposures with customers in their region(s). • The incumbent assists Regional Senior Credit Officers, Commercial and Commercial Real Estate Banking Regional Manager(s) in underwriting, analyzing and approving credit related to capital markets to achieve the objectives and profitability goals of Senior Management. • The incumbent will provide advice and underwriting guidance to Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate Banking, and as needed, the Business Banking relationship officers on new or existing credit relationships pertaining to capital market products. • The incumbent will underwrite and submit for approval to the appropriate credit committee capital market product credit exposures for direct customers of the Capital Markets Division. • The Regional Senior Credit Officer II – Capital Markets Division may have limited direct account responsibility. The Chief Credit Officer and the Capital Markets Division manager will determine the level of account activity. • The incumbent will lead the development of credit exposure methodologies for capital market products. • The incumbent will co-chair the Capital Markets Risk Committee. QUALIFICATIONS Mandatory Minimum Qualifications - Must Have: BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree • 10 or more years professional work experience in related field with 7+ years in a credit function. • Familiarity with: 1. Capital markets products (including but not limited to derivatives, foreign exchange, fixed income) 2. Credit exposure risk measurement, and credit underwriting of capital markets products for institutional and commercial counterparties 3. Documentation related to capital markets products (including but not limited to ISDA, Credit Support Annex, etc.) Education: Bachelors Certifications: None Licenses: None Total Years of Experience: 11-15
