Reporting to the Team Lead, WCDMA RF Firmware, the Radio Calibration Developer will be primarily responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining calibration scripts on the PC side as well as the corresponding features required on the device side utilizing C/C++ and RF test equipment. The primary functions of this role consist of taking the Calibration suite from design to mass production in factory. This will include developing calibration scripts, analyzing calibration results, reducing calibration time, and working with other team members to resolve issues in order. Overall, your main accountabilities will be broken down as follows: 50% Developing calibration scripts 25% Debugging calibration issues 10% Analyzing calibration data 5% Learning about the latest wirelesss technologies and test equipment.
Our minimum requirements to ensure your success in this role are: • 1-4 years of experience in design and development of handheld/PC applications • Must be able to write software in C/C++ • Experience in writing calibration scripts • Experience interfacing with test equipment (such as CMU-200, CMW-500, Agilent 8960, etc) • Bachelor of Science, Math, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Additionally, and in anticipation of a high volume of applicants, consideration will be given to candidates who also possess the following: • Experience with calibrating wireless technologies such as WCDMA/HSDPA • Experience with embedded systems • Knowledge of RF hardware
