Software Integration Engineer
El Segundo, CA
This is a 12 month Contract Opportunity
Areas of integration include: planning and sensor management, task and request management and product management. The individual will work as a member of the software-in-the-loop testing team conducting unit and integration tests to ensure that individual components of the system are adequately tested before field testing. This is an integration position, and is not part of a formal test program.
Basic Qualifications: A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other related technical field and a minimum of 5 years of experience directly related to this position. Practical experience in integrating complex software systems is essential. The candidate must have the ability to write clear, concise systems documentation, configuration instructions and test procedures/scripts and be able to work in a fast paced environment. A working knowledge of portable open source Linux-based development processes, languages, and tools including C#, Java, Mono/.NET, and Windows/Cygwin is necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience integrating UAVs with existing mission planning or command and control systems is a plus. Good communication skills are essential.
Must be Eligible for US Security Clearance
