Professional Summary and Career Objective
I am a resourceful and dedicated 21-year veteran teacher seeking new ways to positively impact the lives of others. While my passion remains in the education field, I hope to make a transition to outside of the classroom, focusing on the learning process and the use of knowledge/skills obtained. I hope to utilize other areas of my educational background, continuing to study learning styles and thought and behavior patterns. My experience, various problem-solving skills, and proficiency in assessment and evaluation of children’s needs and abilities are valuable transferable skills I have acquired over the years while working with, not only students, but also with colleagues. Those assets, my Masters Degree in Educational Psychology, along with my natural empathy for others, will help me understand one’s (as well as those on which he/she depends) needs on a different level and develop effective strategies to help them find success.
