We currently have a need for an Operations Supervisor at our DHL Express facility in Cayman islands. This position will be responsible for managing and coordination of the activities of the department in accordance with policies, goals and objectives established by the Station Manager.

Duties and responsibilities:

Coordinates the supervision of assigned personnel, which includes work allocation, training, and problem resolution.

Coordinates the interaction between Customs Authorities and the DHL Import team.

Ensure that the team is provided with clear performance standards and is staffed, coached, trained and motivated to meet set targets.

Utilise Company reporting tools daily to monitor performance at both team and individual level and take appropriate action to address non-conformance / under achievement.

Ensures that vehicular fleet is maintained mechanically and administratively.

Support the effective implementation and deployment of Regional and Country projects, programs and initiatives within the Service Center.

Contribute with continuous improvement process ideas.

Minimum qualifications:

3 years or more experience in a supervisory role

Experience within the courier industry

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

Strong leadership skills

Willingness to undertake challenges

Ability to deliver revenue and profit targets

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to form teams
