Manager, Planning & Analysis

This role is based in Hamilton, Bermuda.

Gibraltar Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Gibraltar Re) and Lotus Reinsurance Company Ltd. (Lotus Re) are looking to fill a newly created Manager, Planning and Analysis role.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Developing and maintaining a suite of internal management reporting capabilities to monitor key business performance metrics including solvency, capital efficiency and contribution to enterprise objectives

Periodic reporting to both the Gibraltar Re and Lotus Re finance & audit committees of each respective board of directors, highlighting pertinent financial analysis and providing insightful commentary to assist in decision making

Managing the periodic multi-year planning and forecasting deliverables to Corporate P&A

Maintaining a robust control environment in the production of output, including the ownership of end-user computer solutions (EUCS)

Establishing multi-line financial analysis for Lotus Re as the company assumes a broad array of product lines

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Accounting or Finance preferred

5+ years of similar experience with demonstrated career progression

Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting and reporting

Familiarity with reinsurance accounting and Bermuda regulatory and solvency regime

Strong analytical skills

Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines under challenging time frames

Exposure to data analytics and visualization platforms such as Microsoft Power BI an advantage
