Sales Representative/Roof Estimator

Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for roofing? Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding job? Look no further! We are currently seeking a friendly and experienced Sales Representative/Roof Estimator to join our team. As a Roof Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our company's success by engaging with prospective homeowners as well as Insurance adjusters. You will be responsible for assessing the scope of work and determining materials needed. This position requires attention to detail, and the ability to work with Clients, Adjusters and independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections to assess the scope of roofing projects

• Take accurate measurements and gather all necessary information to prepare estimates

• Enter that information into a software system

• Consult with clients to answer any questions and clarify project specifications

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates

• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and pricing to provide the most competitive estimates

• Some leads are provided but the most successful estimators generate their own as well by working the neighborhoods of active installations and sometimes cold calling or distributing mailers in known storm damaged areas.

Skills Desired

• Previous experience as a Roof Estimator or similar role

• Good analytical skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

• Comfort level with stepping onto and around a roof inspecting for damage

• Some knowledge of local building codes and regulations
